Hello!
Hi I am Sambethe,
My consciousness awakening began over a decade ago.
Even before then, I had always been spiritually aware. I lived by simple principles: respect for myself, respect for others, respect for nature, and respect for all life. I believed deeply in the timeless teaching, “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.” Spirituality was part of my life, but it remained on the surface.
Then my consciousness awakened.
It did not arrive gently. It came like a tidal wave, shattering everything I thought I knew. I was unprepared to step into the unknown. I was unprepared to walk alone through the valley of the shadow of death. Yet, in hindsight, I now understand that awakening is not just an invitation, it is a calling.
It is a call to go deeper.
A call to heal.
To heal the wounds carried through generations.
To heal the wounds carried across lifetimes.
Most importantly, to heal yourself.
Healing looks different for everyone, but every healing journey requires one thing: the courage to face your own shadows. It asks you to illuminate the parts of yourself, hidden, denied, and forgotten. It invites you to rediscover, activate, and anchor your own Divine Spark, your inner light.
For me, that journey required stepping into the unknown. It meant releasing the comfort and certainty of familiar beliefs, cultural conditioning, religious doctrines, expectations, friendships, and even family dynamics. It meant allowing old identities to fall away so that something more authentic could emerge.
My journey began in Christianity, having been raised in a Christian family. As my consciousness expanded, I was called to do the sacred South African Nzuza initiation (Guardian of the Waters). From there, my path led me to the wisdom of the Yoruba traditions, shamanic practices, and numerous indigenous healing systems.
People often ask me, “What are you?”
The truth is, I find it difficult to answer.
I am an initiated Nzuza Priestess. I have studied and been initiated into multiple indigenous and ancient healing traditions. Yet I do not define myself by any single path.
Each tradition became a teacher.
Each initiation unlocked another key of wisdom for my soul’s evolution.
Each experience expanded my understanding of myself, Spirit, and humanity.
From every tradition, I received gifts. I embraced what resonated deeply with my soul while remaining open to continual growth. I believe that life itself is the greatest initiation.
The Sambethe I am today, is not the Sambethe I was yesterday, and I trust she will not be the Sambethe I become tomorrow.
I am committed to continual evolution.
I am committed to doing the inner work.
I am committed to growth.
With every cycle of healing and expansion, new wisdom is revealed.
My beliefs continue to evolve because I continue to evolve. What I believed ten years ago is not what I believe today, and what I believe today may continue to deepen over the years. Growth requires openness, humility, and the willingness to keep learning.
My mission is not to heal others.
Healing is a sacred responsibility that belongs to each individual.
I cannot face your shadows for you.
I cannot heal your ancestral bloodlines for you.
I cannot awaken your consciousness for you.
I cannot do the WORK for you.
What I can do, is walk beside you.
I can create sacred spaces where you feel safe to remember who you truly are.
I can share the indigenous/ancient wisdom, healing modalities, spiritual tools, and protective practices that have supported my own journey.
I can help you reconnect with your intuition and your own Divine essence.
My purpose is to empower you to become your own healer, your own guide, and your own greatest source of wisdom.
Because everything you seek, already exists within you.
Sometimes, all we need is someone to hold the lantern while we find our way home.

The Calling and its signs
I know this heading sounds like the title of some scary movie, but, to some, ‘The Calling’ is spooky. Much of this fright has to do with how we are socialized and the taboo nature of spirituality. What is the calling? I will spare you the detailed explanation about the...
The Pantheon
On a Country trip, a discussion amongst friends, on the Pantheon attached to each culture, had methinking. Why does every belief system, but Christianity, have a Pantheon of Deities? Is that entirelycorrect though. Let us dissect this topic. The bible mentions seven Arch Angels. Four of those we know to...
